We're just a set of imperfect parents who also happen to be podcasters, bloggers, interior designers (well just Gabrielle), and public speakers.

We love Jesus, our four amazing kids (Ford, Sienna, Kennedy, and Crew), traveling, and the Ohio State Football Program.

“THE HOUSE THAT GOD BUILT.”

That phrase came to Gabrielle in a prayer time that her and Michael were having in 2020. It comes from 2 Samuel 7:11 where God told David, “Moreover, the Lord declares to you that the Lord will make you a house…” At the time, Michael and Gabrielle were praying for a certain house they wanted to own, and thought that this was for that prayer. However, overtime they realized that this phrase and verse had a bigger meaning for their family. They began to ask themselves, “What if God building you a house meant more than just a physical dwelling?” “What if it was a new way to live as a family with a God-supplied purpose, God-ordered priorities, and a God-directed pace of life?” “What if they weren’t the only ones dissatisfied with their rhythm of life, and who desired a different one?” 


 

With those questions and that desire, Michael and Gabrielle left their full-time jobs in 2024 to pioneer a different way to live as a family, and to resource other families on how to do the same. Their heart is for your home to be one that is built by God.
